The beautiful state of New Hampshire is home to many bodies of water and long stretches of coastal towns. However, water-borne contaminants lurk in many public and private water systems, carrying potential illnesses, long-term diseases, or everyday inconveniences. We encourage you to prevent these health risks by taking the first step: water testing.
At NH Tap, we’re committed to providing residents of New Hampshire with comprehensive water testing and filtration services. Clean water is something you should count on, but isn’t necessarily guaranteed whether you’re on a public water system or a private well. Thankfully, we provide water testing in New Hampshire to determine if contamination is an issue in your home.
If you’re concerned about your water quality, a free in-home water test can provide clarity and guidance on whether you need a filtration system.

Residents who use NH public water are often unknowingly exposed to contamination from industrial chemicals and failing infrastructure. A simple water analysis will let you know if your family is being exposed to natural or human-made contaminants. At NH Tap, we know how to test your water for the most common and dangerous health risks.
What to expect during your water test.
You’ve scheduled an appointment. Now what? Before the appointment, one of our experts will consult water quality reports published by local municipalities if you’re on a public water utility, and research common issues in your area. Once at your home, they’ll collect a sample with a water test kit that measures for common contaminants.
Depending on the contaminants we test for, we may send the sample to an independent laboratory for analysis. Typically, the lab sends results within one week. If lab testing isn’t required, the on-site free water test will only take about 20 minutes.
During the appointment, our water specialist will also perform a quick inspection of your plumbing and floorplan to inform future recommendations for fixing any issues that arise. If testing shows your water contains high levels of contaminants, we can provide you with a same-day quote for a recommended filtration system.
